MUSIC
My favorie music is fairly a tough decision for me because I cannot pick just one type of music, one artist or band, or one song that can be considered my ultimate favorite.
In turn, I have grown akin to many different types of music -
- hiphop – not rap, I consider “rap” to be the term for mainstream shit, but more to the likes of De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Jay-Z, Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Wyclef Jean, The Fugees, etc
- rock – I really did not know how to classify this, but I’ve started listening to Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, etc…
- indie rock – I know this is really a vague term for the genre, but I couldn’t think of anything better. Anyways, I like listening to Voxtrot, Spoon, I’m From Barcelona, Bloc Party, Belle & Sebastien, Rogue Wave, etc
- reggae – there’s just something about reggae that really mellows the soul..
I’m sure there are more in my iTunes playlist that I forgot to mention, but that’s just some of it…
I guess I can say that I pick the songs I like according to the skateability of it, meaning if it’s something I can sesh to…
